CURRENCY CONVERSION STATEMENT
All payments on aviokarta.me are made in euros (EUR) – by payment card or by bank transfer in euros (SEPA / SWIFT), depending on the payment method selected when booking. If your card is not linked to a euro account, the amount charged will be converted into your account currency at the exchange rate of your card issuer or the card scheme, which we cannot know at the time of the transaction. As a result of this conversion, there may be a slight difference from the price shown on our website. Thank you for your understanding.
E-TICKET
An e-ticket is a contract of carriage between the passenger and the carrier. E-tickets are non-transferable. The passenger’s first and last name cannot be changed. A passenger will not be entitled to carriage unless they present valid identity documents for travel and a valid e-ticket has been issued in their name.
At the request of the carrier or other competent authorities, the passenger must present their ticket and surrender the relevant flight coupons. The carrier has the right to refuse carriage if the details on the ticket have been changed after the original issue. If the carrier cannot provide the passenger with a previously booked seat, or if a flight is canceled during the ticket’s validity period, the ticket’s validity will be extended until the carrier is able to provide carriage.
Each flight ticket is valid for carriage for one year from the date travel begins or, if no part of the ticket has been used, from its date of issue, unless otherwise stated on the ticket, in the conditions of carriage or in the carrier’s rules. Stopovers are only possible if the fare rules allow them.
FLIGHT COUPON SEQUENCE AND USE
The ticket purchased by the Passenger is valid only for the carriage shown on the Ticket, from the place of departure, via all planned stopover points, to the final destination. The fare paid by the passenger is based on specific fares and applies to the carriage shown on the Ticket. The Ticket will not be honored and will lose its validity if the flight coupons are not used in the sequence in which they appear on the Ticket.
FARES
Fares apply to carriage from the airport at the place of departure to the airport at the destination, unless otherwise indicated. Fares do not include ground transportation between airports or between airports and city terminals. The ticket price paid by the Passenger is calculated according to the airline fares valid on the date of payment for travel on the itinerary shown on the Ticket. Fares are paid in euros (EUR), by payment card or by bank transfer (SEPA / SWIFT).
A ticket issued at a special fare may be used only under the conditions set for that fare. Any change of routing or departure date may result in a change of fare.
In addition to the fare, the passenger must pay all taxes and charges applicable to air transportation that have been established or imposed by the competent government authorities. The passenger must find out about possible exceptions where a transportation tax is collected at the place of departure.
BOOKING A FLIGHT TICKET
Passengers can book flight tickets online themselves through the following websites:
• In the Republic of Serbia www.aviokarta.rs or www.avio.rs
• In the Republic of Croatia www.aviokarta.hr
• In Bosnia and Herzegovina www.aviokarta.ba
• In Montenegro www.aviokarta.me
• In the Republic of Macedonia www.avionskibileti.mk or www.evtiniaviobileti.mk
• In the Republic of Slovenia www.letalska.si or www.letalskavozovnica.com or www.aviovozovnice.si
• In the EU www.aviokarta.eu and www.aironline.eu
• Worldwide www.avio.travel
After completing an online purchase, the passenger receives by email a confirmation of the purchase, the Flight Rules – the rules that apply to that ticket and fare, the Special Travel Conditions, the General Travel Conditions… AVIOKARTA.ME is open 24/7.
The price shown includes passenger transportation, airport taxes, baggage and the ticketing service in a single amount. The confirmation clearly states which baggage, what type and how much is included in the price of the booked ticket. If it does not say “baggage allowance” 23 kg/30 kg, but the offer and confirmation say “baggage surcharge”, only carry-on baggage is included in the ticket price and “checked baggage” must be paid for separately. You can get information on the price and how to purchase “checked baggage” from the AGENT.
There are no hidden costs in the ticket price, regardless of the payment method. Once purchased, tickets are subject to rules on subsequent changes to an issued ticket, which differ for each ticket/airline/fare. Ticket rules are set by the airline (the carrier), whether for changes or cancellations. The agency acts as an intermediary in applying these rules and provides explanations at the client’s request. Since AIRFANTAST acts as an intermediary in the contract of carriage between the passenger and the airline in accordance with the applicable rules and regulations, we would also like to point out the possibility of an unforeseen technical interruption of the electronic connections between the airlines’ databases/servers and our server, through which you make your online booking.
The passenger must read the Flight Rules, i.e. the ticket rules, which are in English; if they do not understand them, they can call an Agent at the numbers listed on the website for an explanation of the fare conditions, the rules on changes or refunds and other details of that fare… The passenger should also immediately check that the flight dates and first and last names are spelled correctly, as any corrections after the ticket has been issued may result in additional costs for the passenger. An issued ticket can be voided free of charge only on the same day until 19 h Central European Time, and in exceptional cases until 20 h!
If the passenger would like an aviokarta.me agent to make a flight booking for them, they need to provide an email address to which we can send the booking confirmation, the conditions and the payment deadline. By paying for the tickets, the passenger confirms that they are correct and that they understand them.
We accept no liability for information given verbally. Only information given in writing is valid. By paying for flight tickets and hotels, you confirm the validity of the details on the tickets.
The price is guaranteed on the day of booking and usually for the next 24 h (99.99%), but due to daily fluctuations in the EUR/CHF/RSD/HRK/BAM-KM/MKD exchange rates, and the airline’s discretionary right to change the fare/taxes or the conditions of the selected fare, the Agency cannot guarantee the client a previous offer if the airline has changed the fare rules for these reasons. Only a paid and issued ticket keeps the conditions that applied at the time of purchase.
If you make more than one booking for the same passenger on the same route and for the same flight times, the system will automatically detect and cancel all of them. Once a booking has been made, it can be changed or corrected by phone or by sending a request to info@airfantast.com, in line with the change rules set by the airline.
FLIGHT TICKET PAYMENT DEADLINES
The AVIOKARTA.ME website issues and charges for flight tickets on the same day or no later than 24h after the booking is made. If you chose to pay by card (Visa, Master, American…) when booking, we will charge your card within 2-12 h of the booking. The 2-hour (120-minute) grace period gives the client time to check the passenger details, flight plan and baggage information, and to review the Flight Rules (ticket and fare rules), the General Terms of Use and the Special Travel Conditions.
If the passenger wants to cancel the booking free of charge, they need to send an email requesting cancellation within this period, without having to give a reason, or point out any errors that need to be corrected/changed before the ticket is charged. The ticket issuing deadline depends on the fare.
If the Bank is unable to charge your payment card, which does not necessarily mean there are insufficient funds or that we do not accept that type of card, we will let you know that we were unable to charge your card and that you can repeat the payment with another payment card (Visa or Mastercard).
The AGENT is obliged to issue the ticket once the card has been successfully processed.
Seat reservations for a specific flight are made by an authorized agent. A seat reservation is not binding until the agent/carrier issues a valid ticket, a Miscellaneous Charges Order (MCO) or a Prepaid Ticket Advice (PTA) stating the reserved seat. The agent has the right to cancel the booking without prior notice if the passenger does not pay for the ticket by the deadline set by the agent. If the passenger is unable to pay for the ticket by the deadline set by the airline, they should contact the AGENT, who will try to extend the booking/make a new one/renew the existing one.
PROTECTION OF CONFIDENTIAL TRANSACTION DATA
When you enter your payment card details, the confidential information is transmitted over the public network in protected (encrypted) form using the SSL protocol and the PKI system, currently the most advanced cryptographic technology. Data security during purchase is guaranteed by the payment card processor, and the entire payment process takes place on the bank’s pages. At no point is your payment card data available to our system.
USER PRIVACY PROTECTION
“On behalf of the aviokarta.me website, AIRFANTAST is committed to protecting the privacy of all our customers. We collect only the necessary basic customer/user data and the data required to run our business and keep users informed, in line with good business practice and with the aim of providing quality service. We give customers choices, including the option to decide whether or not they want to be removed from the mailing lists used for marketing campaigns.
All user/customer data is kept strictly confidential and is accessible only to employees who need it to do their jobs. All employees of AIRFANTAST and of the aviokarta.me website (and business partners) are responsible for upholding the principles of privacy protection.”
FLIGHT TICKET PAYMENT CURRENCY
Your payment card is charged in euros (EUR). If your card is not linked to a euro account, the amount will be converted into your account currency at the exchange rate of your card issuer or the card scheme, which we cannot know at the time of the transaction, so there may be a slight difference from the price shown on our website. The airline may charge the amount in CHF/USD, and it will always be approximately equal to the amount shown on our website.
AIRCRAFT SEATS
At the client’s request, AVIOKARTA.ME will reserve seats on the aircraft for passengers, if the airline allows it. This service is free of charge, except on flights and in classes where the Airline charges extra for seat selection. The website, i.e. the AGENT, cannot guarantee that the passenger will sit in a particular seat. The airline reserves the right to assign seats or change seat assignments even after boarding. This may be necessary for operational, safety or security reasons.
RECONFIRMATION
When a passenger has purchased a round-trip ticket to a destination, they do not need to reconfirm their trip by calling our call center.
PASSENGER CHECK-IN AND BOARDING
Check-in deadlines vary from airport to airport. The Passenger should find out about these deadlines and comply with them. Airlines have the right to cancel the Passenger’s booking if they do not meet the check-in deadlines. The Passenger is responsible for finding out about airport check-in deadlines. Check-in deadlines for all airlines in Belgrade, Sarajevo, Skopje, Zagreb, Ljubljana, Vienna and Zurich are 2:00h before the departure time shown on the ticket, while check-in deadlines at other European airports are 2 h 45 min!
The Passenger must be at the boarding area no later than the time communicated by the airline at check-in.
The airline has the right to cancel the Passenger’s booking if they do not arrive at the boarding gate on time.
If you are traveling to your final destination with a single airline, your baggage will be checked through to the end.
If your ticket includes flights operated by two different airlines, your baggage will be checked through to the end provided the carriers have agreed to do so and you do not have a stopover longer than 24 hours. Otherwise, you will need to collect your baggage and check it in again at the connecting airport.
The airline and the www.aviokarta.me website accept no liability for any losses or costs the Passenger may incur as a result of not complying with the provisions of this section. The www.aviokarta.me website is not obliged to inform the passenger about agreements between airlines regarding through-checked baggage.
PASSENGER OBLIGATIONS IN AIR TRAVEL
1. Before buying a ticket and boarding the aircraft, at the request of an IATA agent’s employee, the carrier or government authorities, the passenger must prove their identity and present the appropriate travel documents.
2. When buying a ticket, the passenger must inform the airline, through the IATA agent, of any health problems that could make their carriage more difficult or adversely affect the flight.
3. The passenger must undergo a security check that includes their checked and carry-on baggage.
4. Under current international regulations, passengers may not carry weapons, ammunition, knives, toys resembling real weapons (e.g. pistols, grenades) or other items of a similar nature in their carry-on baggage. Such items must be packed in checked baggage following a special procedure. The carrier disclaims any responsibility for the safekeeping of such items. Dangerous goods (explosives and ammunition, fuels, compressed gases, poisons or toxic and infectious substances, oxidizing substances, radioactive material, magnetic material and other dangerous goods) may be carried only under special conditions of carriage.
5. The passenger must observe the rules of air transportation and follow the carrier’s instructions, in particular regarding:

7. The passenger must also:
– arrive at the boarding point and complete all required formalities and procedures on time, no later than the time set by the carrier. Passengers are advised to check this with the carrier or its authorized agent,
– fasten their seat belt when instructed by the crew or by the illuminated sign during takeoff, landing or the flight,

– accept first aid if health problems arise during the flight, provide personal and health information to the crew and undergo a medical examination,
– compensate the carrier for all damage caused by their misconduct (e.g. damage to the aircraft interior, illegal carriage of dangerous animals or items, etc.),
– follow the instructions of the captain and crew during the flight,
– undergo the prescribed security screening carried out by government authorities or authorized organizations,
– dress and present themselves in a manner appropriate to the standards of air travel.
CARRIER LIABILITY
1. The general liability of the carrier in international air transportation is governed by the Convention for the Unification of Certain Rules Relating to International Carriage by Air, the so-called Warsaw Convention, Art. 15/1935, as amended by the Hague Protocol, Art. 15/1966.
2. Limitation of carrier liability
a) under the Warsaw Convention as supplemented and amended by the Hague Protocol, the carrier’s liability for damage resulting from the death or injury of a passenger is limited to 20.000, – USD, and to 58.000, – USD (75.000, – USD including legal costs) under the Montreal Agreement for flights to/from/via the USA and Canada.
3. Liability for damage
a) the carrier is liable only for damage occurring on its own services. A carrier that issued a ticket or checked baggage onto another carrier’s service acts only as that carrier’s agent.
Nevertheless, in the case of checked baggage, the passenger is entitled to claim compensation from the first or the last carrier.
b) the carrier is not liable for damage to carry-on baggage or other items in the passenger’s care and custody, except where the damage was caused by the carrier’s fault or where the passenger was unable to look after their baggage. If the damage was caused by the joint fault of the passenger and the carrier, liability is shared in proportion to each party’s contribution to the damage.
c) the carrier is liable up to the amount of actual damage, up to the limit of its liability. The carrier is not liable for indirect damage or loss of profit,
d) the carrier is liable for loss or delay occurring during air transportation through its fault,
e) the carrier is not liable for any damage, loss or harm caused by natural causes, the death or behavior of animals, such as biting, kicking, goring or suffocation, improper care of an animal, or an animal’s inability to adapt to the different conditions of air travel,
f) the carrier is not liable for damage to fragile, delicate or perishable items, or for the loss of money, jewelry, precious metals, medicines, keys, video cameras, cameras and other electronic devices, bonds and securities or other valuables, business documents, passports and other identity documents packed in the passenger’s checked baggage, with or without the carrier’s knowledge. The carrier is not liable for damage to the passenger’s baggage caused by its contents,
g) when carrying a passenger whose age or mental or physical condition is such that it poses a danger or risk to that person, the carrier will not be liable for any illness, injury or disability, including death, if it results from that person’s condition,
h) the limitation of the carrier’s liability applies to all employees, agents and representatives of the carrier.
CARRIER OBLIGATIONS IN AIR TRAVEL
1. The carrier must ensure that passengers are informed of the location and use of:
a) seat belts,
b) emergency exits and equipment intended for shared use,
c) life vests and oxygen masks, where their use by passengers is required,
d) other emergency equipment intended for individual use.
2. Passengers must be informed of the ban on smoking and on using electronic devices on board, as well as of the fines that may be imposed for violations.
3. If necessary, the carrier must inform passengers of the emergency procedures appropriate to the situation.
4. The carrier must ensure that passengers can use their seat belts during takeoff, landing, turbulence and in any other case at the captain’s instruction, and must inform passengers of their location on the aircraft
RIGHT TO REFUSE CARRIAGE
Every airline has the right to refuse to carry any passenger or their baggage for reasons of flight safety or at its own discretion. In that case, the Passenger will be entitled to a refund of the ticket paid.
The airline has the right to refuse to accept baggage if it considers that it is not adequately and securely packed in suitable packaging.
REFUSAL AND LIMITATION OF CARRIAGE
1. General provisions
The carrier may refuse to carry a passenger:
a) if required by the carrier’s rules relating to the operation of the flight,
b) if the passenger violates the regulations of the country from which the aircraft departs, to which it flies or over which it passes,
c) if the passenger has an infectious disease that must be reported in advance, or has a serious illness and cannot take care of their own mental and physical condition and is not accompanied by someone who can provide the necessary assistance,
d) if the passenger’s behavior endangers the safety of the flight or public order, or if they are not appropriately dressed,
e) if any of the obligations listed in Article 7 is breached.
2. Passenger’s right to compensation
A passenger who has been refused or limited carriage under paragraph 1.a) above may, as compensation for the flight not taken, be refunded the fare or the proportional part of it relating to the unused portion of the flight, or may be offered alternative transportation by another aircraft or another means of transport. If the passenger was excluded from carriage for other reasons, a fee is deducted from the compensation for the flight not taken, unless the carrier requires a different application of the refund rules.
BAGGAGE
1. General provisions
Baggage is carried as checked or unchecked (carry-on) baggage. The passenger is entitled to a free baggage allowance in accordance with the following provisions of these Conditions.
Baggage carried as “checked baggage” is clearly indicated on the booking as “Baggage allowance”, with the number of pieces and weight permitted for that fare. If the offer or booking confirmation says “Baggage surcharge”, the fare and class do not include “checked baggage” and it must be purchased separately. The baggage surcharge can be paid at the airport at check-in or through the AGENT.
A growing number of airlines are switching to a “low-cost” model, offering some fares without “checked baggage”, where only carry-on (cabin) baggage is allowed (for dimensions and weight, see unchecked baggage (carry-on baggage)).
2. Checked baggage
Checked baggage must consist of well-closed and locked suitcases or other baggage that can be securely closed. With the carrier’s consent, other items may also be accepted for carriage. For baggage handed over to the carrier (checked baggage), the passenger is issued a baggage identification tag as a receipt, which the passenger must keep in case of a claim. Food and small animals may also be carried as checked baggage, in accordance with the carrier’s rules.
Each piece of baggage the passenger wishes to check must be labeled on the outside and inside with an identification tag showing the passenger’s name and contact address at the destination (for example, a hotel address). The name on the tag must match the details on the ticket and other travel documents. Baggage, including baggage with zip fasteners, must be closed so that it does not open during transport. The carrier is not liable for baggage that is not collected immediately after landing. Checked baggage is carried in the hold of the aircraft on which the passenger is traveling. If this is not possible, it will be sent on the next available connection.
The carrier may exclude from carriage, before departure or at any time during the journey, baggage and items that could endanger the safety of the flight, persons or property, as well as baggage and items that could be seriously damaged during air transportation or are improperly packed.
The quantity and type of baggage can be checked only on the website: https://aviokarta.me/Provera-prtljaga.html
When traveling to/from the USA, within the USA and Canada, an adult passenger in class C (business) is entitled to two pieces of checked baggage free of charge, provided the sum of the three dimensions of each piece does not exceed 158 cm and each piece weighs no more than 23 kg.
In class Y (economy), an adult passenger is entitled to one piece of checked baggage free of charge, provided the sum of its three dimensions does not exceed 158 cm and it weighs no more than 23 kg. Children under 2 years of age are entitled to one piece of baggage whose dimensions do not exceed 115 cm in total, as well as a folded stroller.
On other routes, adult passengers are entitled to free checked baggage of up to 30 kg in class C (business) and 23 kg in class Y (economy). Children under 2 years of age (who are not entitled to their own seat) are entitled to free checked baggage of up to 10 kg, as well as a folded stroller and food for the flight. Children aged 2 to 12 are entitled to the same free checked baggage allowance as adults.
3. Unchecked baggage (carry-on baggage)
Carry-on baggage that a passenger may take on board is limited to the following dimensions: maximum length 55 cm, maximum width 40 cm and maximum depth 20 cm, with a combined total of no more than 115 cm. A passenger may carry only one piece of carry-on baggage weighing no more than 5 kg, unless otherwise specified by the carrier’s internal rules. The carrier has the right to check the weight and dimensions of carry-on baggage.
The following personal items, carried and looked after by the passenger, may be taken into the cabin free of charge:
– a small handbag
– a coat, scarf or blanket
– an umbrella or walking stick
– a camera, video camera, binoculars, small laptop computer or mobile phone
– a baby carrier and baby food for the flight
– glasses and orthopedic aids for passengers with disabilities
4. Special baggage
Only with the carrier’s prior consent and under the conditions set by the carrier may the following be carried:
a) live animals, including birds and reptiles (carriage is at the passenger’s own risk and only where permitted by applicable regulations).
They may be carried:
– in the passenger cabin or in the hold
– as cargo.
In addition, a dog accompanying a visually or hearing-impaired person, or a dog trained to protect human life, may be carried in the cabin free of charge. Dogs must have a leash, a muzzle, a vaccination certificate and any other required documents.
b) carriage of weapons and ammunition:
weapons of all kinds may be accepted for air transportation only where permitted by applicable regulations. Weapons must be unloaded, with the safety on, and carried only in the aircraft’s hold. Ammunition that is explosive by nature is classified as dangerous goods and may be carried in accordance with the conditions set out in the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations.
c) diplomatic couriers may carry diplomatic baggage in the passenger cabin.
A fully assembled wheelchair is carried free of charge.
5. Excess baggage
Under the so-called piece concept for baggage to/from the USA, within the USA and Canada, a fixed fee determined by the destination is charged for each excess piece of baggage or for exceeding the size or weight limits.
On other routes, baggage exceeding the permitted weight will be carried subject to the carrier’s capacity, and a per-kilogram fee will be charged based on the carrier’s applicable price list (each carrier has its own rules: for example, 1% of the First or Business Class fare for each kilogram)
6. Pooling of baggage
If two or more passengers traveling together to the same destination on the same aircraft check in their baggage at the same time and place, they will be allowed a combined baggage weight equal to the sum of their individual free baggage allowances.
7. Baggage inspection
The carrier may inspect the contents of a passenger’s baggage in the passenger’s presence. If the passenger is absent, the carrier has the right, in the presence of at least one witness who is not employed by the carrier, to open the passenger’s baggage and determine whether it contains items that are prohibited from carriage or items that require special handling.
8. Unaccompanied baggage
Unaccompanied baggage is carried in accordance with the carrier’s special rules.
9. Baggage with declared value
The passenger may declare a value for checked baggage higher than the airline’s liability limit, provided the carrier has set fare conditions for such cases.
10. Collection of checked baggage
a) the passenger must collect their baggage immediately after landing,
b) baggage may be collected only by the holder of the baggage check and identification tag. The carrier is not obliged to verify whether the baggage was collected by the holder of the baggage check and identification tag and is not liable for any loss, damage or other costs the passenger may incur in this connection,
c) damage to, non-delivery of or loss of baggage must be reported to the carrier immediately when collecting the baggage, and the carrier must draw up a report. Otherwise, the baggage is presumed to have been delivered in good condition,
d) when reporting damage at a later stage, the passenger must prove a causal link between the reported damage and the relevant flight.
FLIGHT SCHEDULES, DELAYS AND CANCELED FLIGHTS
The published flight schedule may change between the date of publication and the date of travel. AVIOKARTA.ME does not guarantee the airlines’ published flight schedules. Flight schedules are subject to change. The schedule may change after the Ticket has been issued. The Passenger should provide valid contact details so that we can notify them of any changes. If the airline changes the schedule in a way that does not suit the Passenger and is unable to rebook them on another suitable flight, the Passenger is entitled to a full refund.
You can read about all passenger rights in the event of denied boarding, cancellation and long delays on the airline’s website.
You can find all passenger rights in the event of denied boarding, cancellation and long delays for AIRSERBIA flights at:
http://www.airserbia.com/en-rs/notice-on-passenger-rights-in-the-event-of-denied-boarding-and-of-cancellation-or-long-delay-of-flights
If, due to circumstances beyond its control, the airline cancels or delays a flight, fails to land at a stopover or the final destination, or causes the passenger to miss a connecting flight on which they hold a confirmed booking, the Airline must take one of the following steps:
• carry the Passenger as soon as possible on another flight with available seats, at no extra cost to the Passenger and, if necessary, extend the validity of their Ticket; or
• reroute the Passenger to the destination shown on their Ticket on its own flights or by other mutually agreed means and in the agreed class of travel, at no extra cost to the Passenger.
If a flight is delayed or canceled no later than 24h before the travel date, during AVIOKARTA.ME call center hours, our call center will contact the passenger or the person who ordered the ticket and inform them of any changes/cancellations. After notifying the client of the change or cancellation, our agents will do everything in their power, with the airlines’ consent, to replace the changed flights with flights that suit the passenger. If none of the proposed flights suits the passenger, AVIOKARTA.ME will refund the full ticket price to the passenger as soon as it receives the refund from the airline.
If the airline changes the schedule or cancels the trip after 19h on a weekday, or after 15h on a Saturday or Sunday, it is obliged to contact each passenger personally and inform them of the schedule change or ticket cancellation.
If the airline cancels or reschedules a flight on the day of travel, a few hours before departure, the passenger will be informed of the schedule by the airline at the airport. For all questions at the airport, the passenger must contact the airline, which will inform them of the schedule change or ticket cancellation and find the best option available for the passenger at that time.
In the event of an airline strike, the passenger must contact the airline so that it can transfer them to the first available flight to their desired destination.
The passenger must check their ticket at https://aviokarta.me/Provera-avionske-karte.html or at https://www.checkmytrip.com and, as soon as they notice a change to or cancellation of any flight on the ticket, contact the AGENT so that the agent, together with the airline, can offer a solution.
Irregularities in air transportation
a) for reasons beyond the carrier’s control (so-called “force majeure”, e.g. weather conditions, technical reasons not attributable to the carrier, war, strikes by transport service organizations, etc.), the carrier may delay, cancel, terminate or divert a flight, change the aircraft type or transfer the service to another carrier without further liability, except for the obligation to provide transportation by another aircraft or other means of transport or to refund the fare paid.
b) if a flight is delayed, late or canceled, or the aircraft type is changed due to circumstances caused by the carrier’s fault, and the carrier is unable to provide a previously confirmed seat, the passenger cannot disembark at the scheduled or final destination, or circumstances cause the passenger to miss a connecting flight, the carrier must:
– carry the passenger on another scheduled service with available seats, or
– reroute the passenger to the final destination shown on the ticket on its own scheduled flight or on another carrier’s flight, or provide ground transportation for the passenger. If the costs of taxes, excess baggage fees and other services related to the change of routing exceed the value of the ticket price paid or part of it, the carrier will not charge the passenger any additional taxes or fees and will refund the passenger the difference if the taxes and fees for the new routing are lower than those paid by the passenger, or will refund taxes in accordance with Article 13 of these Conditions, and will have no further liability to the passenger,
– provide a passenger with a confirmed booking who has been denied boarding due to lack of seats with appropriate compensation in accordance with the carrier’s rules.
c) the carrier accepts no liability for errors and omissions in flight schedules or other information provided by the carrier’s employees or agents about departure or arrival times and aircraft operations, except where the carrier is aware that its conduct or omission will cause damage.
FLIGHT TICKET REFUNDS
General ticket refunds
For an unused or canceled seat reservation, a fee is charged under the conditions set by the airline in accordance with the fare rules. It is in the passenger’s interest to find out about the fare rules before the ticket is issued.
AVIOKARTA.ME will refund the ticket or the unused portion of the ticket in accordance with the applicable fare rules. When booking a ticket online, the passenger must read and accept the ticket refund conditions in order to complete the booking themselves.
If an AVIOKARTA.ME agent makes a booking for a client by phone or in person, the client should preferably provide an email address so that we can email them the booking with all of its conditions. A ticket is refunded if the passenger cancels the trip or if the airline cancels the flight. Refunds are made only at the place where the ticket was purchased and under the conditions of the specific fare (depending on the fare, the refund may be full, subject to a penalty, or not possible at all). If the airline cancels the flight, the ticket is refunded in full.
A purchased ticket cannot be refunded unless the ticket is provided.
In the event of a return and refund to a customer who previously paid by payment card, in part or in full and regardless of the reason for the return, the AGENT is required to issue the refund exclusively via the VISA and Maestro payment methods, which means the bank will, at the seller’s request, refund the cardholder’s account.
Refund timeframe
Refunds to the customer’s payment card are made within up to 90 days. The money is refunded by the airline and the AGENT cannot influence these timeframes. In the event of a return and refund to a customer who previously paid by payment card, in part or in full and regardless of the reason for the return, the aviokarta.me website / AIRFANTAST is required to issue the refund exclusively via the VISA, EC/MC and Maestro payment methods, which means the bank will, at the seller’s request, refund the funds to the cardholder’s account.
In special cases where a passenger cancels a flight due to the illness or death of a close relative, they must submit supporting documentation, which is sent to the airline for review and a decision on the penalty amount; this process can take up to 60 days. As soon as the refund is received, the AGENT will contact the passenger and refund the amount set by the airline.
If the passenger is not satisfied with the refund amount, they may contact the airline directly.
If the passenger cancels the trip
The passenger must reimburse the AGENT for the actual costs incurred (airline invoice, airport invoice, insurance company invoice, etc.) if the cancellation is due to: sudden illness of the passenger, their spouse, child, parent, brother or sister, adopted child or adoptive parent; the death of the passenger, their spouse, child, parent, brother or sister, adopted child or adoptive parent; the passenger being called up for military exercises; or a natural disaster or state of emergency officially declared by the competent authority of the country of travel.
In these cases, the Passenger must provide the AGENT with proof entitling them to health insurance benefits for temporary inability to work (a certificate from their general practitioner, or a discharge summary from an inpatient health facility explicitly confirming the sudden illness and inability to travel), or a death certificate, or a call-up for military exercises. Local terrorist attacks, explosions, infections, epidemics and other diseases, natural disasters, weather conditions and the like, for which no state of emergency has been declared by the competent authorities of the home country or the country of travel, are not considered valid reasons for the Passenger to cancel or interrupt the trip.
A sudden illness means a sudden and unexpected illness diagnosed by an authorized medical specialist, or an infectious disease or organic disorder, that arises after the travel contract/ticket purchase was concluded, is not related to or the result of a pre-existing medical condition, and is of such a nature that it requires treatment or hospitalization and prevents the start of the contracted trip.
A FLIGHT TICKET for a charter program, on scheduled routes or on LOW-COST AIRLINE routes is an ACTUAL COST INCURRED. It is subject to a charge of 100% of the amount on the airline’s invoice!
If the Airline doubts the authenticity of the Passenger’s medical report, it has the right to request an examination at a medical institution with which it has a cooperation agreement, in which case the Airline bears the costs of determining the passenger’s health condition if the Passenger’s original medical report proves to be valid.
If the canceled trip is covered by an insurance policy, the passenger must claim directly from the insurer.
The AGENT recommends insuring your trip against cancellation with an insurance company to avoid inconvenience caused by unforeseen events that may prevent your trip.
INVOLUNTARY REFUNDS
If the airline cancels a flight, fails to operate a flight according to schedule, fails to land at the destination or stopover point, or if, through the airline’s fault, the Passenger misses a connecting flight on which they hold a booking, the refund amount will be:
if no part of the Ticket has been used, an amount equal to the fare paid by the Passenger;
if part of the Ticket has been used, the refund will be no less than the difference between the fare paid and the applicable fare for travel between the points for which the Ticket was issued.
RIGHT TO REFUSE A REFUND
AVIOKARTA.ME and the airline have the right to refuse a refund in the following cases:
a) when the refund request is submitted after the Ticket has expired.
b) if a return ticket was a condition for entry into the country,
c) if the document is registered in a database of suspicious documents
d) if, when booking online, the passenger entered incorrect passenger details, destination or flight dates
WHO RECEIVES THE TICKET REFUND
A purchased ticket can be refunded only to the passenger/person who ordered the ticket. The refund will be made using the same method by which the ticket was paid.
Changing a purchased ticket
Travel date changes are made at the place where the ticket was purchased or with the airline that issued the ticket.
A request to change the date of a purchased ticket can only be made:
• in writing by the person who ordered the ticket, from the same email address or phone number provided in the booking. To protect your privacy and security, information and changes can only be requested by the person who made the booking.
• in person at our office by someone authorized by the ticket purchaser. The authorization can be sent in any form by email or by SMS from the phone number provided in the booking
AVIOKARTA.ME will change the dates on the ticket in accordance with the applicable fare rules. Our fee for issuing a new, changed e-ticket is TSC 0 euros + the ticket change penalties stated in the Flight rules PDF sent with the booking confirmation + an upgrade to a higher class if no seats are available in the same class as on the ticket.
LOST BAGGAGE
A passenger whose checked baggage did not arrive at the final destination should report the loss at the specially marked desk (LOST LUGGAGE / LOST BAGGAGE / LOST AND FOUND). The passenger reporting lost baggage must present the ticket with the baggage claim stickers for the checked baggage. These stickers are attached to the ticket by the airline employee who checks the passenger in for the flight. The baggage tag may be damaged or fall off and get lost due to handling or bad weather, which can cause the baggage to be sent to the wrong place. Baggage is sorted manually by airport staff based on the tags, and there is always a chance that, through human error, some baggage will be placed on the “wrong” belt and sent to the wrong destination.
Tracing lost baggage is the responsibility of airport services. Baggage movements are tracked electronically. Every piece of checked baggage has a tag showing the destination code and a barcode that can be used to check details of its owner and itinerary. When baggage “goes astray” and turns up at another airport, it is registered and entered with a detailed description into an electronic database, where it can be found by the staff responsible at the destination airport where it was reported missing.
Damaged baggage or theft of baggage contents must also be reported on the prescribed form at the same desk.
In most cases, lost baggage is found within 24 hours, and it is rarely found later. Once located, the baggage is sent on the first flight to the final destination, where it is usually delivered to the passenger’s home address, hotel or place of stay.
Most airlines reimburse unplanned expenses for essential clothing if the passenger is without their baggage for several days. Airlines pay this compensation only if the passenger is without their baggage at a destination other than their place of residence. Airlines also set the reimbursement amount themselves and accept only reasonable expenses.
Lost baggage can be tracked online. The lost baggage tracing system is known as “Worldtracer”, and it allows passengers of around forty of the world’s largest airlines to locate their lost suitcase themselves. On the website www.mylostbag.com, enter the passenger’s last name and the reference number found on the baggage sticker attached to the ticket.
AVIOKARTA.ME accepts no liability for lost or damaged baggage.
VISAS
The passenger is responsible for obtaining the necessary travel documents and visas and for complying with the laws, regulations, ordinances, requirements and travel rules of the countries they are traveling to/from and transiting through.
AVIOKARTA.ME AND THE AGENT accept no liability for any consequences the Passenger suffers if they fail to obtain the appropriate documents or visas or fail to comply with the above laws, regulations, ordinances, requirements, conditions, rules and instructions. If a passenger sets off with invalid documents, an expired passport or inappropriate visas despite having been warned and having received a notice and a statement confirming that they hold the necessary documents, visas and a passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of return, the responsibility lies solely with them.
REFUSAL OF ENTRY
Passport control officers have the discretionary right to refuse you entry into the country if you do not have the appropriate documents or the required visa.
However, even if you have a visa and a valid passport, you may be refused entry if the officer believes you pose a risk.
Officers may ask passengers to show other documents and even money. This is often the case with Serbian citizens, who are under close scrutiny by European immigration authorities due to the large number of false asylum seekers. Persons deported back to Serbia after staying in another country because their asylum application was rejected can seek assistance from the Readmission Office on arrival at Belgrade airport.
Additional documents that may be requested when entering European Union countries include:
• travel health insurance for the planned period of stay
• a return ticket
• a letter of invitation or an accommodation booking (voucher)
• sufficient funds – the amount depends on the country but is usually between 35 and 50 euros per day of stay.
CUSTOMS INSPECTION
If required, the passenger must be present during the inspection of their own baggage by customs or other government authorities. Neither the airlines nor the www.aviokarta.me website accept liability for any loss or damage the Passenger suffers during such an inspection or as a result of failing to comply with these rules.
REFUSAL OF BOOKINGS
AVIOKARTA.ME has the right to refuse booking requests when a user violates the AVIOKARTA.ME terms of use.
