Online check-in is the fastest way to check in for your flight: on the airline’s website you enter your booking reference and passport details, choose a seat and save the boarding pass to your phone. How to check in online
- Choose the airline you are flying with.
- Click “Check in” – the airline’s official website opens.
- Enter your booking reference (PNR) or ticket number and surname.
- Enter your passport details and choose a seat.
- Save the boarding pass to your phone or print it.

For codeshare flights (four-digit flight number) check in with the airline operating the flight.

Things to keep in mind
- Codeshare flights: check in with the airline operating the flight (“operated by”), not the one whose flight number you have.
- Low-cost airlines: with Wizz Air and Ryanair online check-in is practically mandatory, as airport check-in is charged.
- Checked baggage: even after online check-in, drop your bag at the bag drop desk in time.
- Documents and visas: for some destinations (e.g. USA, United Kingdom) documents are checked at the desk, so online check-in may be limited.
- Travelling with a baby or special assistance: airport check-in is often required.
- Boarding pass: keep it in the airline app or as a PDF and take a screenshot just in case.

Online check-in FAQ
When does online check-in open?
With most airlines 24 to 48 hours before departure. Some open earlier: easyJet up to 30 days, Pegasus 7 days, and Wizz Air and Ryanair earlier with a paid seat. The exact time for each airline is shown on the cards above.
What do I need for online check-in?
Your booking reference (PNR, six characters) or e-ticket number, the passenger’s surname and the details of the passport or ID card you travel with. You have all of this in the confirmation Air Fantast sent you by email.
Is online check-in mandatory?
With low-cost airlines such as Wizz Air and Ryanair it practically is, because airport check-in is charged. With full-service airlines (Air Montenegro, Air Serbia, Turkish Airlines) you can also check in at the desk, but online check-in saves time and gives a better choice of seats.
Do I have to drop my bag if I checked in online?
Yes, if you have checked baggage, leave it at the bag drop desk before the deadline set by the airline. With hand luggage only you go straight to security.
Why can’t I check in online?
The most common reasons: check-in is not open yet or already closed, the flight is operated by another airline (codeshare), you travel with a baby or need special assistance, or the destination requires a document check. Which airline do I check in with on a codeshare flight?
Always with the airline that actually operates the flight (operating carrier). Your ticket says “operated by…”.
